The Situation
Victor Auto Body Works is a family-owned Connecticut collision repair shop with decades of experience and a loyal customer base. They came to Just Because Media looking for someone to post videos. What they needed was a more consistent way to generate enquiries.
“We need more leads.”— Victor Auto Body Works
The request was content. The goal was more leads.
Victor Auto Body Works initially asked for social media videos. In the first conversation, we asked what the business actually needed. The answer was simple: more leads.
“What are your actual goals?”— The question that shaped the strategy
That changed the recommendation. Organic posts could support awareness, but a lead-generation goal called for advertising, clear landing pages and tracking. We built the plan around that goal.
A good reputation needed a clearer path to new customers.
Victor had decades of experience and a loyal customer base, but a limited online presence. Its earlier approach focused on awareness, with no clear conversion data to show what turned attention into an enquiry.
Visibility: Reach local drivers actively looking for collision repair.
Action: Make calling or requesting an estimate straightforward.
Measurement: Track lead activity so campaign decisions could be based on more than views and likes.
Build the campaign around the estimate request.
We combined search advertising, Facebook campaigns and landing pages with ongoing reporting. Each part had a specific job.
01 — Capture search demand
Google Search campaigns focused on terms such as “auto body shop near me,” “collision repair” and “insurance body shop.” Location targeting and exclusions focused the spend on the shop’s service area, with calls and quote requests as the conversion goals.
02 — Build familiarity and bring visitors back
Facebook creative introduced the shop and supported retargeting. Ads linked to a focused landing page designed to make the next step clear.
03 — Track the actions that matter
Call tracking, form tracking and Google Tag Manager helped connect campaign activity to enquiries. Weekly reporting covered performance by location and keyword.
04 — Keep refining the spend
We tested ad copy and reviewed budgets each week. Underperforming towns and keywords were removed or adjusted so more of the budget could support relevant lead activity.
423 tracked lead conversions at $2.71 each.
The campaign report supplied for this case study recorded more than 400 lead conversion actions, with the average cost per conversion below $3.

ImpressionsThese are recorded conversion actions, such as calls and form enquiries, rather than a count of unique customers or completed repairs. The figures describe the reported campaign period; they are not a promise of future results.

The goal was a busier shop, with clearer reporting.
Victor reported more booked appointments and more consistent calls from week to week. Visibility in relevant local searches improved, and the team grew more confident about continuing to invest in advertising.
A better way to decide what comes next.
Tracking gave the shop and our team a practical way to review performance and adjust the campaigns. Posts, ads and landing pages now had a shared purpose: help a potential customer move from finding the shop to requesting an estimate.
Start with the business goal. Build the marketing around it.
If your shop needs more estimate requests, that goal should shape the campaign, the landing page and the reporting from day one.
